Bordeaux Construction was founded in 1977 by Joseph and Agnes Bordeaux. The company was incorporated in 1978 as Bordeaux Construction Company. Joined by their sons, Tom and David, the company continued a measured growth with Durham, North Carolina serving as the base of operations. The third generation also chose to pursue the legacy with Tom’s son Blair attending North Carolina State University. In 2003, Blair joined the company and today is President. Headquartered in Raleigh with a satellite office in Wilmington, the company today completes projects across North Carolina. In the past 20 years, Bordeaux Construction has completed over $750,000,000 worth of construction projects. The Company has grown from a modest beginning to include annual sales exceeding $50 million dollars with a large focus on educational, commercial, correctional and municipal projects.
