The Board of Child Care of The United Methodist Church, founded in 1874, has provided and cared for vulnerable children and their families for 132 years. Since those early years, the agency has added many programs and sites, improved our bricks and mortar, and established a standard of excellence throughout all of our programs. We remain steadfast to our mission and vision, and to the guiding words of John Wesley: "Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the place you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can."These words sum up the Board of Child Care's unwavering focus on caring for vulnerable children and families throughout the agency's history and its affiliation with The United Methodist Church.
