Bluestone Metals & Chemicals (www.bluestonemc.com) has been created in Philadelphia in June 2014 by Hong Kong & Europe based SMR (www.smr.hk) together with Brazilian company Incasa (www.incasa.ind.br). Both companies decided to establish the US distribution set-up to directly supply their products to customers. Bluestone provides upstream assets (recycling + close to mine sourcing) combined with downstream strengths to respond optimally to customer needs of Cobalt & Nickel Chemicals, ensuring a very dynamic, competitive and entrepreneurial supply chain. SMR provides the international experience and the deep knowledge & dynamics of the markets of Cobalt, Nickel, Tungsten as well as the long-term partnerships with many market leaders in Asia, Europe and Africa. Incasa offers synergetic products to end-users like animal feed, glass, frits, pigments and fine chemicals etc. May 2015, Bluestone expanded to Asian region by setting up a subsidiary in Mumbai, India. Starting from 2018, Bluestone has set up its European HQ in Valencia, Spain.
