Black Tech Jobs was founded in 2018 to solve a burning problem in the tech community… The exclusion of blacks as a significant part of the diverse landscape in technology job opportunities. This absence of blacks in tech has been a hot topic for the past 5 years, yet there has been almost zero net movement in the employment of blacks in tech. We wanted to be a part of the solution and take an active role in this two-sided problem. On one side the black techies can’t break into the top tech companies. On the other side tech companies can’t find the black tech talent. We live in a divided society that doesn’t allow black tech talent to develop the networks needed to break into the top tech companies, so Black Tech Jobs decided to lean in and take an aggressive approach to solve the problem with great technology, user experience, and community/corporate engagement to build the ultimate matchmaking marketplace to bring together employers and black tech talent. We invite all back tech and tech adjacent talent build a profile and support the community we’re building. We also invite employers to advertise and list their jobs on our site and have an exclusive opportunity to browse the profiles of some of the best tech talents in the country.
