Meet the Business Owner: John Bertrand S r. Bertrand's Music Enterprises Founder & CEO John Bertrand Sr., graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. and M.S. in Music Education. He taught elementary, middle, and high school band, orchestra and chorus for 15 years. In 1983, he founded Bertrand's Music and opened his first store location in San Bernardino with the specific goal of supporting and enhancing music programs in public and private schools.
