What Is Berkeley Economic Review?

Who We Are: Berkeley Economic Review is the University of California at Berkeley’s premier undergraduate, peer-reviewed, academic economics journal. Established by the Undergraduate Economics Association at UC Berkeley, we are a 100% student-run and student-produced nonprofit publication. We were founded in 2016, and we publish online only. What We Do: We publish undergraduate research papers and honors theses in the field of economics, political science, public policy, business, statistics, and related fields. We also accept academic term papers, class essays, policy briefs, and op-eds. All undergraduate students currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university are welcome to submit content for review. Mission Statement: In Berkeley Economic Review we envision a platform for the recognition of quality undergraduate research and writing. Our organization exists to provide a forum for students to voice their views on current economic issues and ultimately to foster a community of aspiring economists. Disclaimer: The views published in this journal are those of the individual authors or speakers and do not necessarily reflect the position or policy of Berkeley Economic Review staff, the Undergraduate Economics Association, the UC Berkeley Economics Department and faculty, or the University of California, Berkeley in general.
