What Is Bentley Leathers?

Bentley, life on the go!\n\nFounded in 1987 by Andy Chelminski, the first Bentley store opened its doors in the Avalon Mall in St-John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Servicing a population of 500, 000 people, it was also the city’s first shop specialized in luggage and travel accessories. \n\nMet with success, we opened an additional 8 stores in a span of just one year: through the combination of store openings and acquisitions of some great banners (Unic, Xcetera and Voyageur, to name a few) Bentley quickly expanded Canada-wide.\n\nToday, Bentley is available from coast to coast, making us the largest retailer of luggage and travel accessories in Canada.\n\nIn the summer of 2003, we acquired EVEX stores to act as highly-specialized luggage boutiques and repair shops for individuals and airlines. The repair centers are also present in B.C. and Alberta under the names Handy Luggage and Weston Luggage. Since then, we have rebranded, relaunched our online website and began renovating our stores. \n\nOn the heels of our rebranding, and our continued generous donations to causes dear to our heart, such as Dreams Take Flight, Bentley continues to shape and innovate the Canadian retail industry, with plans to enter the US market in the near future.
