Today Bell & Evans is a leading producer of chickens raised without antibiotics. Our chickens are fed an all-natural diet of hexane-free soy bean meal and corn, supplemented with vitamins and minerals. Unlike companies run by conglomerates, where the day-to-day operating decisions are made by managers in remote locations and management strategies are based on the bottom line, we are a family owned and operated company. In fact, we're part of a network of family owned companies, our growers, our feed producers, and our hatchery operators, just to name a few. Our retailers understand there is more work involved in handling fresh chicken. But they realize the extra work is worth it for their customers.
