Wischnewsky remained with the Keating family for around 11 years before taking on a management role. From there, he joined the Bayway dealership group in Baytown, TX, in 1995, taking on the role of owner at Bayway Lincoln Mercury in Houston. The dealership was one of the top Lincoln Mercury dealerships in the country. In time, Wischnewsky became the owner of this store, too. Wischnewsky credits his previous work with his current success, saying "My entire career in the car business -- the success of it -- has come out of Crosby, Baytown, Pasadena and the area here."
