Battelle for Kids is a national, not-for-profit organization committed to collaborating with school systems and communities to realize the power and promise of 21st century learning for every student. Our team of experienced educators, alongside communications, technology, and business professionals, partners with school systems to provide an educational experience that prepares all students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become lifelong learners and contributors in a rapidly changing world. Battelle for Kids' approach involves the entire school community—educators in partnership with students, parents, businesses, and other community leaders—to ensure sustainable impact in schools. We are proud to have collaborated with state departments of education, urban, suburban, and rural school districts, and other education-focused organizations in more than 40 states. In October 2017, we welcomed EdLeader21 as a national network of Battelle for Kids. We are driven by a shared goal that: By 2021, 21 percent of the school systems in the U.S. will have begun engaging their communities to develop and implement a Portrait of a Graduate. This establishes a common vision of what all students should know and be able to do to succeed in college, careers, and citizenship in the 21st century. Interested in joining our team?
