What Is Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina?

Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina (BCH) brings hope and healing to children and families in crisis. For 130 years, the nonprofit has offered caring homes to countless boys and girls who come from circumstances ranging from family dysfunction to situations of abuse, neglect and abandonment. The organization provides a myriad of services including children's residential care, family care for single mothers and their children, homes for developmentally disabled adults, weekday education, and a resource-based program for aging adults. BCH and its highly-trained staff serve all 100 counties through 20 statewide locations across North Carolina. BCH is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA). In 2015, BCH was reaccredited receiving perfect ratings on 96% of the 1,000 standards that were evaluated.
