What Is BOLLINGER MOTORS?

History Bollinger Motors started in Hobart, NY in 2014 in a renovated car repair shop. In October, 2015 we set our sights on creating an electric truck. We are currently building our first prototype and will unveil it in 2017. Mission We are engineering the world's first all-electric off-road and on-road sport utility truck. By designing the truck from the ground up, we are creating a unique vehicle capable of exceptional off-road performance, combined with never-before-seen utility features. The all-electric, dual-motor drivetrain creates best-in-class horsepower and torque. All-wheel drive and 50/50 weight distribution provide unbeatable traction, and the suspension delivers best-in-class ground clearance. The end result is the perfect truck for work and play. Vision Bollinger Motors is looking to create the new standard for trucks, whether they're powered by electricity or gas. By engineering all aspects of the truck from scratch we were able to eliminate many features that don't work on today's trucks, like terrible weight distribution, antiquated RWD to 4WD transfer cases, and extremely inefficient gas powertrains. We are reinventing the truck -- not just electrifying it. Goal By engineering and producing the world's first all-electric truck, we hope to be the leader in electric utility and sport vehicles. Our goal is not only to be the first to market, but also the leader in off-road, pickup and utility vehicles.
