• BIT Cultural Society an initiative by Prof. Ajay Oraon along with some students of BIT Sindri for reinforcing and uplifting the lesser privileged, unites all the tribal communities as well as escorting and pursuing the motto of welfare of single being of this institute in every term and aspects and provides a platform to showcase the variety of cultural wealth that long lives in Jharkhand . • The students of this premier government engineering college of Jharkhand, under the Department of Science and Technology, Jharkhand took initiative to celebrate our cultural festivals like :- 1) Sarhul Puja 2) Karma Puja 3) “Karma” as “Karma Mahotsava” 4) Christmas Gathering • Karma is one of the most celebrated illustrious festivals in the land of Jharkhand. Later on this initiation turned into the formation of “BIT Cultural Society”, which not only celebrate the festivals, but upholds, nourishes and preserves all the cultures and traditions in Jharkhand.
