What Is BBIF?
Black Business Investment Fund (BBIF) is a non-profit, mission-driven, Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that helps businesses thrive by providing loan capital alongside with business development training. We also help to stabilize low-income, distressed neighborhoods by investing in economic development projects that stabilizing communities and create jobs.\n\nHeadquartered in Orlando, Florida, BBIF was created in 1987 out of Florida Statute to provide loan capital black businesses in the central Florida community. The organization has grown from a small regional loan fund to the southeast's leading lender that specializes in providing capital to Black, other minority and underserved businesses.\n\nWe understand that underserved businesses play a critical role in our economy and need support in order to create jobs.
