What Is Axis Family Resources?

Axis Family Resources Ltd. as a company was established in 2006, with the amalgamation of Cariboo – Chilcotin Family Resources Ltd. and North – Central Family Resources Ltd. Cariboo – Chilcotin Family Resources Ltd. was founded in 1992, and so 2012 is our 20th Anniversary year!\r\n\r\nOur company is an ever expanding community – based social service agency serving various regions throughout the North and Interior of British Columbia. Programs are funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Community Living British Columbia, Interior Health, Northern Health, Ministry of Justice and Autism BC. We also contract with various First Nations organizations in the Interior Region.\r\n\r\nIn 2003, 2007, 2009 and again in 2012 Axis received a three year Accreditation with CARF International, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Axis continues to meet and exceed the standards set out by our funders and by CARF, in order to provide the highest possible quality of programming to the people we serve.\r\n\r\nAxis Family Resources Ltd. is a member of the Federation of Community Social Services of BC, and has partnerships with other agencies and organizations within each community where our programs exist.
