What Is Avondale College of Higher Education?
Based on the 2014 Australian Graduate Survey, 92% of 2013 Avondale graduates were employed within approximately four months of completing their degree. Avondale College of Higher Education is unique in the Australian higher education system. Established in 1897, we are one of only three Christian Higher Education institutions in the country that offer such a wide range of government accredited degrees. We are also committed to providing education that prepares people to make a significant difference in the world. Avondale offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Arts, Business, Education, Ministry and Theology, Nursing and Science. We also offer the Diploma of General Studies, an academic pathway course and vocational programs in Outdoor Recreation. Two campuses: Lake Macquarie — The main campus is located in Cooranbong, and boasts an ideal learning environment Sydney — Located in Wahroonga, the Faculty of Nursing and Health is situated on the grounds of the Sydney Adventist Hospital.
