The Australian Renewable Energy Agency is leading Australia’s efforts to deliver affordable renewable energy across the nation. We recognise Australia has a unique and abundant range of renewable energy sources and is well placed to harness this potential through the delivery of world leading technologies including solar energy, ocean energy, wind energy, bioenergy and geothermal energy. Our aim is to inspire and support viable, world class renewable energy technologies and to influence change and growth in the sector by sharing knowledge from all of the projects we fund. Our engagement with stakeholders is underpinned by a commercially oriented and flexible approach. ARENA is a dynamic and independent agency made up of highly qualified and experienced people and overseen by a commercially and technically savvy Board. ARENA was established by the Australian Government to make renewable energy solutions more affordable and increase the amount of renewable energy used in Australia.
