What Is Australian Grand Prix?

At the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC), we have delivered very strong results and delivered on our promises over many years. There is no doubt how we have met these milestones and collectively we have drawn a line in the sand to protect our most important asset ? ?our people??. AGPC is responsible for staging two iconic international events, the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park, Melbourne held in March as well as the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix held in October at Phillip Island. We are an internationally recognized and respected leader on the world motorsport stage. The 2016 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix, is known as one of the most prestigious, and glamorous events on the sporting and social calendar. Each year in March when Formula One comes to town, the city of Melbourne comes alive ? the streets are flooded with people and colour, and the atmosphere is electric as anticipation builds to fever pitch for the season opener. The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix is a fun weekend for the whole family. MotoGP riders defy the rules of nature reaching speeds of 350km/h. The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island is the only place to experience all the excitement up close as riders push themselves and their machines to the limit. The Australian Grand Prix Corporation pride our self on doing as much to give back to the community as possible including: - Schools program ? allowing schools access to the track at both events to explore the track, and educate them on the technologies we use at both events - Community day ? Allowing patrons who live directly in or around the area where our events are held free access to the track. - Family Friendly ? Providing as many opportunities for the whole family to attend as possible that are both entertaining and cost efficient. For more information on either event and to keep up to date with the latest information please visit www.MotoGP.com.au or www.GrandPrix.com.au Events, Motorsport, Sports Marketing
