Astro Machine Works Revenue and Competitors

Astro Machine Works, Inc. was founded in 1984. The original facility consisted of approximately 3,000 square feet and was located on Route 322 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. By 1986, the Company had quickly outgrown the original building. The founders purchased and broke ground for the initial 5,000 square foot facility at the current Astro Machine Works, Inc. location. In 1995, Astro Machine Works purchased a second 1.5 acre plot of land located immediately west of the manufacturing building to allow for future expansion and growth. Additional growth came again in 1999 with the purchase of an adjacent property consisting of 3 acres of land with a 22,000 square foot industrial manufacturing facility. Today the Company employs approximately 45 employees. The original building has been expanded to its current size of 25,000 square feet. Combined with Astro's other facilities, the company now has over 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space to better meet our customers demands. By 1990, Astro employed over 20 individuals and had gone through several building additions to keep up with the tremendous growth the Company was experiencing. In 1996, an additional facility in Ephrata PA, was purchased and renovated to allow the Company to better serve the storage and assembly needs of it's growing customer base.
