Affiliated with the national AITP organization, Association of Information Technology Professionals at the University of Houston is a student organization associated with the College of Technology. Through mentorship, technical skills, and networking programs, we strive to achieve our mission of providing our members with opportunities and resources to advance in information technology careers. Today, we boast the title of third Best Overall School based on high member placement in competitions at the 2016 AITP National Collegiate Conference. Comprised of 30+ members, our small organization focuses on what really matters – helping our members be job ready so that they can start contributing to your organization immediately. With most members working towards obtaining a degree in the Computer Information Systems major, organizations can be assured that they will be speaking to a group of individuals with diverse skill sets, combining both technical and business knowledge.
