Arizona Governor's Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting Revenue and Competitors

The Arizona Governor's Office of Strategic Planning & Budgeting (OSPB) monitors and advises the Governor and others on the development and execution of the state budget. OSPB annually collects and analyzes budget requests from State agencies and works with the Governor and the Governor’s senior staff to develop the Executive Budget for publication and delivery to the Legislature every January. OSPB also performs a variety of other tasks including: Coordinating and negotiating with the Legislature on appropriations and related legislation; Analyzing the fiscal impact of all bills introduced during the legislative session; Instructing and assisting state agencies on how to develop their budget requests and strategic plans; and Assisting state agencies throughout the year to address fiscal and operational issues.
