Welcome to the world of Arc Inspirations. Hear about job opportunities and other news and events we have on. Established in 1999 by Martin Wolstencroft and Chris Ure, we opened our first bar,The Arc in Headingley, Leeds in 2000. Within three years, The Box and Trio Bar & Grill both in Headingley were launched along with Zed in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. In 2004, The Hub was opened, our second bar in Chapel Allerton. 2006 saw the launch of our first bar outside Leeds, Banyan Bar & Kitchen in Harrogate. In October 2007, Napa Bar & Kitchen was launched in Roundhay, Leeds. May 2008 saw the opening of Kobe in Horsforth, Leeds, our eighth venture. In July 2013, we ventured into York to open a second Banyan Bar & Kitchen and August 2013 The Pit opened on Merrion Street in Leeds city centre. In November 2013, following the massive success of The Pit in Leeds City Center, the Hub was rebranded as the second Pit. In 2014 we opened a Pit in Harrogate and a New York bar concept in Leeds called Manahatta on Merrion St in part of the Grand Arcade. In 2015 we ventured in to Manchester for the first time and acquired a stunning location in the Corn Exchange opposite Selfridges & Harvey Nichols with a 150 cover outside terrace and created our 3rd Banyan venue. In 2016 we completed a stunning refurbishment of our original Banyan, Harrogate and we opened our 4th Banyan in the Old Post Office building in Leeds' City Square. Later in 2016 we re-branded Napa and Kobe to Banyans which has taken the tally to 6 bars under this stylish brand. A second Manahatta on Greek Street was then born in March 2017. In November 2017 another Banyan was opened in the historic town of Ilkley. 2018 sees the legendary Arc transforming to our third Manahatta, a second Box opening in Leeds city centre, our 8th Banyan opening in Spinningfields, Manchester and our 4th Manahatta opening on Deansgate, Manchester.
