From our start in 1949 as a small family business, we have grown to become the international resource for processing poultry in a safe, efficient, environmentally and economically friendly manner. API rendering delivers a “green” solution, by recycling billions of pounds of poultry products a year into products used to produce pet foods, feeds and ingredients used in various applications. If these products were allowed to decompose in landfills, compost piles, or buried, and the carbon in these products was released as CO2, the impact would be a release of approximately 2.0 MM tons of CO2 annually into the atmosphere, or the same as adding approximately 1.2 million cars to the nation’s roads.
