What Is American Preparatory Academy?
APA is a public charter school district offering a rigorous classical, liberal arts education to over 3,500 students in Salt Lake County. APA’s West Valley City 2 campus, is a K-12 Title I public charter school. Approximately 75% of the students come from low-income homes and 95% of our students are on free/reduced lunch. Most students graduating from this campus are first generation in their family to attend college. Within two years, APA's afterschool programs averages 800 students a day and has over 21 afterschool programs. All of our afterschool programs (K-12) are free to all of our students. We love our motto, "We do what's best for kids!"
