American Conservation Experience (ACE), a nonprofit conservation corps, is a national leader in recruiting, coordinating, and training youth and volunteers in environmental restoration and land management projects on America's National Parks, National Forests, Wildlife Refuges, and other Public Lands. Established in 2004 and headquartered in Flagstaff, Arizona, ACE has bases in St. George, Utah; Asheville, North Carolina; Lake Tahoe, California; and Santa Cruz, California, as well as a national individual placement program (Emerging Professional Internship Corps, EPIC). ACE is dedicated to providing career pathways and job training in conservation and resource management to build and mentorthe future generation of land managers with accomplishing meaningful restoration and conservation projects. \r\n\r\nProviding a range of voluntary service programs for both American and international participants, ACE is an opportunity to change the future and restore and conserve our lands and resources. ACE Conservation Corps members serve in professionally supervised teams as they explore future careers, learn practical and tangible field skills, and develop leadership experience as emerging leaders in the field of conservation. ACE EPIC interns work alongside agency mentors and to apply their knowledge of resource management on actual projects and programs as they develop and emerge as the next generation of resource and land managers.\r\n\r\nACE’s mission is to provide rewarding environmental service opportunities that harness the idealism and energy of a volunteer labor force to help restore America’s public lands.
