Akers Media is the publisher of three regional, community magazines, Healthy Living, Lake & Sumter Style and Villages Style. The company, which was established in July 2008. Akers Media has been recognized with over 150 awards for design, writing, advertising and publishing excellence. Additionally, Akers Media has been recognized locally as “Business of the Year” by the Leesburg Partnership; “Partner of the Year” by Lifestream Behavioral Center, The Lake County Education Foundation, and Florida Hospital Waterman Foundation; and “The Health Hero” by the Lake County Health Department. In 2012 Akers Creative launched (a division of Akers Media Group, Inc) as a full-service advertising agency. Since then, we have been recognized nationally for our superb yet strategic design.
