AgVantage Software, Inc. is located in Rochester, Minnesota. For three decades, the AgVantage systems have been used in many areas of agribusiness, from grain elevators, feed manufacturers, fertilizer/chemical dealers to cooperatives, seed companies, fuel distributors, and more. Over the 30 years of business, approximately 200 Agri Businesses in the United States use the AgVantage accounting system computing to thousands of users in 20 states. It has been a successful business based on strong relationships with Agri businesses, as well as customizing the software to meet the ever-changing needs. In 1976, Don Udenberg started a computer software company targeted towards agribusiness, and the company Udenberg & Associates created AgVantage Software. Over the years, AgVantage has become a leader in the Ag Industry, providing flexibility, as well as a solid foundation for the basis of many Ag Businesses throughout the country. AgVantage software has expanded our customer base creating a merger with Be-Rich, Inc. in 1996, acquiring 25 new customers, and several employees. In 1999, AgVantage Software formed an alliance with Land O' Lakes Agricultural Services. Throughout that alliance, the LOL customers were converted to AgVantage software. We also added four Land O' Lakes employees to our company to support the numerous new customers acquired in that agreement. As the agribusinesses are becoming more complex, a more sophisticated computer system solution is required. AgVantage is committed to innovative software solutions, using industry research tools, customer input, and progressive development teams to continue to advance our products with ever-changing technology. In August of 2000, AgVantage began a process that allows many companies to share a single server. This allows each company to maintain a secure, separate process thereby reducing the IS staff required to sustain the network and streamline the backup and recovery procedures. It also presents an opportunity to save money by eliminating the need to purchase a single server for each company. The mission of the AgVantage system is to "Deliver Customer Service Excellence".
