What Is Affordable Housing Alliance NJ?

Founded in 1991, The Affordable Housing Alliance, or AHA, provides housing, programs and other services to support low-to moderate income individuals and families. The AHA maintains a portfolio of affordable rental options in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The AHA provides educational workshops and counseling for first-time home buyers and counseling for those facing foreclosure. The AHA assists individuals with applications to secure temporary assistance to pay their home energy bills. Under the leadership of our executive team, Donna Blaze (CEO), Derrick Griggs (COO), and Wayne Greer (CFO), the work of the AHA has been recognized at local, state and national levels including the Governor's Award for Housing Excellence, the NJ Department of Community Affairs, the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, and the NAACP President's Community Service Award.
