Centre expansion The Centre's expansion will re-affirm our facility as one of the world's premier conference centres, ensuring we remain competitive in a very demanding market and boosting the economic and tourism contribution to the State of South Australia. The redevelopment program will be delivered in two stages. The first stage will expand the existing facility westwards over the railway lines to link with Morphett Street bridge. Construction started in September 2011 and completion is due in time to host the World Aquaculture Conference in 2014.
