What Is Academy at the Lakes?
Academy at the Lakes is a private-independent non-profit school governed by a Board of Trustees. Academy at the Lakes was founded in 1992 as a nondenominational, co-ed, Junior Kindergarten - 12th grade college preparatory school. Academy at the Lakes is located on two neighboring campuses (JK - 4th grade on the Wendlek Campus and 5th - 12th grade on the McCormick Campus) in the north of Tampa suburb of Land O' Lakes. Academy at the Lakes builds an uncommon educational experience by providing a strong sense of community where relationships are meant to last a lifetime. Our mission is: Academy at the Lakes is a learning community of shared values dedicated to the success of each individual at school, in the community, and in the world.
