In flexible transport solutions, the pioneer is Ekeri. Ekeri produces and sells box semi-trailers, box trailers and truck boxes with fully opening sides this has been a market niche since 1997. The first semi-trailers with an opening side was already built in 1978. 1945 - Founding of the company Bror Eklund founds a company under the name Eklunds Snickeri, focusing primarily on carpentry. The company also builds superstructures and trailers. 1950 - Carpentry products Products manufactured by the company include doors and furniture. 1960 - Trailers and kiosks In addition to superstructures and trailers, Eklunds Snickeri also manufactures caravans and horse-drawn carriages. 1970 - Metal industry Ekeri specialises in transportation equipment, and primarily in covered trailers and trailers with tarpaulin sides. Management of the company transfers to Lars and Henrik Eklund. 1980 - New factory In the 1980s a new factory was built.
