Local 943 members are represented by senators elected in each council. The Senate Meetings are held at the Oak Lawn office six times a year (September, October, December, February, April, and May) on the second Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. At these meetings the officers and union representatives from each council conduct the business of the Local and gather the latest information on current issues in education and labor. We welcome the participation of all Local 943 members at these meetings. However, only those duly elected or appointed are eligible to vote.
