What Is AER Worldwide?

AER Worldwide is a leading de-manufacturer with a focus on the redistribution of components. It also end-of-life processes the non-resellable part of the electronic waste stream it receives from its customers in an environmentally sound manner. Allied Electronic Recovery (AER) began business as a chip puller and aggregator/sorter of electronic waste streams in 1996. With 7 employees, AER hit $1 million in revenues in its first year. Subsequently, with the exception of 2001 when a significant slowdown in technology spending occurred slowing the flow of obsolete technology equipment, the company continued steady revenue growth, averaging fifty percent increases annually. AER adopted its new name, AER Worldwide, in order to better market its position as an international independent distributor of electronic components and electronic waste stream processor. AER Worldwide functions as an independent distributor of integrated circuits. They focus on obtaining new and used excess and obsolete integrated circuits and sell them via direct sales to their OEM, CEM, ODM, broker and distributor markets. In addition, the company has expanded its end-of-life management capabilities and as such offers the full range of de-manufacturing and recycling services. This is critical to its ability to compete effectively for the business of the large OEM, CEM, ODM and industrial companies. The key benefits AER Worldwide provides are : Knowledge and management of the environmentally sound reverse supply chain for electronics Cost maximized component recovery and redistribution Environmentally sound recycling Proprietary material certified destruction Tracking, reporting and auditing of material movement downstream from AER Worldwide Integrity Get to know the Management Team & our Employees
