Past, Present and Future: ACUTE CARE, INC. was founded in 1989. It is owned and managed by a board certified emergency physician, Mark C. Menadue, DO, JD, FACEP, FCLM. With the corporate offices in suburban Des Moines, Iowa, ACUTE CARE, INC. currently provides services to more than 60 hospitals throughout the United States. Our Philosophy: The key to cost effective emergency medical services is experienced, mature, career-oriented emergency physicians practicing in an incentive-based system under effective leadership with state-of-the-art administrative, operations, marketing support, systems and training.
