What Is ACTFL?
The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) is the only national organization dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the teaching and learning of all languages at all levels of instruction throughout the U.S. They represent the educators who are committed to building language proficiency from kindergarten students through adult learners. They also provide advocacy, professional development opportunities and resources for members to interact and share ideas and experiences. ACTFL will host their events November 15-19 with 3,000 attendees expected. The group will be hosted by the Nashville Convention Center/ Renaissance Nashville Hotel and other Downtown hotels. The group returns to Nashville with its Annual Conference for the first time since 1998.
