*Overview* 321's mission is to make a transformative impact on India's education system by maximizing the potential of each educator and each school and through them the potential of millions of children in our country. We aim to do this through our 2 year school strengthening and teacher empowerment program called Ignite!. In the next 4 years, we aim to impact 11,000 educators, 500 schools and 4,00,000 students. *Our Journey* >> We started our journey in 2012 by opening a school for economically disadvantaged children in Mumbai. By contextualizing and implementing international best practices, we were able to create a shining example of delivering high quality education to the neediest children. >> Given the interest from other schools we started piloting interventions with teachers and schools which led to the creation of 321's Ignite! Program. >> From 2014-16 we conducted a 2 month program for over 200 teachers from 20 schools in 3 cities. >> In 2016-17 we did a year long program and trained over 500 teachers from 40 schools. >> From 2017-18 Ignite! Program became a 2 year program. In 2017-18 we are empowering 1800 educators from 80 schools and impacting 72,000 children. *321's Ignite! Program* We work with teachers, school leaders and parents to embed innovative practices in schools. Our program consists of: >> Workshops for educators with international best practices taught in a contextualised and highly engaging manner. >> In person coaching sessions to give relevant support and targeted feedback to educators. >> Motivation sessions and celebration events to acknowledge and celebrate educators successes. >> School wide interventions to embed best practices in the school and bringing together all the different stakeholders.
