22 West Radio is a State-of- the- art radio station broadcasting out of CSULB that currently broadcasts on 22westmedia.com, 88.1 HD F.M., and iPhone or Android on the Radio FX app. The station has been primarily a space for music appreciation and as an optional use, a means to gain practical experience in various music industry functions. It is consistently a popular activity that attracts a great cross-section of the student population as well as Volunteers from the campus and surrounding community. You never know what our content will be when you tune in to Kbeach, but you can rely on the fact that it will be unique, cool, and student driven. Another way in which we are paving the way for CSULB students to be ahead of the curve, is by offering a complete Pro-Tools studio for their use at reasonable rental rates. Pro Tools is the Recording and Film Industry Standard and we demonstrate how it works as we assist those who wish to make semi-professional recording of their audio projects. The recording studio is all digital, so all you need to do is bring in your instruments, pop on your headphones, and get recording. We can even broadcast this mixed performance live across the world for a fee! Currently, 22 West Radio has programs that range from all music to all talk and everything in between. Our News Department is always looking for important stories and features to bring to you. And as always, we'll continue to bring you up to date music from all the labels out there when our active students aren't bringing you live content from the campus and beyond.
