What Is Varig?

Varig is a technology company that aims to make buildings sustainable. The property and construction industry is known as "The 40% Industry"; it uses 40% of our resources and is responsible for 40% of CO2 emissions globally. We want to change this by empowering people that plan, build, operate or use buildings to make sustainable choices. Our data-driven and easy-to-use solution will inspire decisions that create positive impact for people and planet. Varig was founded in February 2019 by Renate Straume and Norselab. Renate has over 10 years' experience as a leader in the construction business, whereas Norselab has demonstrated success in building meaningful tech companies from scratch. Varig is set to launch its first product in Q1 2020; this product will solve major pain points in operations of existing buildings by making it easy for all involved parties to make the right decisions at any given time. This will enable extended lifetime of buildings, improved environmental performance and better buildings for users.
