What Is Syringa Networks?

Syringa Networks, Idaho's leading fiber optic network provider, was created in 2002 by twelve rural Idaho telephone companies with a determination to improve telecommunication and rural broadband services in Idaho. These companies have a combined 800 year history of doing business in Idaho. With this foundation, Syringa Networks provides advanced telecommunication and rural broadband solutions that enable customers to compete in the global economy, which extends far beyond traditional regional boundaries. Our investment in next generation technology and development of customer-centric services help enable organizations to take advantage of our reliability, scalability and responsiveness. We are well positioned to support and grow with the increasing communication requirements of Idaho business seeking an edge in their respective marketplace. Examples of the next-generation technologies that Syringa Networks utilize are dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) and synchronous optical network (SONET) systems. These technologies allow expansion of transport capacity and provide customers the necessary bandwidth to support their telecom-dependant applications. Recent upgrades to our network infrastructure have increased backbone transport capacity in excess of 400GB, making the network the most robust and scalable in the state. Syringa Networks supports traditional TDM transport services (DS-1 to OC-192), ATM, Frame Relay, and regional Gigabit Ethernet. In addition, the network was designed to support every commercially available telecommunications services in the industry. Our transport methods fit any business broadband need, which include switched and dedicated voice services, SS7, wireless backhaul, high bandwidth data circuits, managed IP video services, and dedicated Internet access.
