etc.venues is a collection of venues for training, meetings, conferences and events in London, Birmingham and Manchester, with ambitious plans to go global! We are a fast growing challenger brand that loves great customer service, contemporary design, edgy communication and outwitting our larger rivals. However, what we are really proud of, is that we have continued to honour our founding principles to do the simple things well, to put service first, to be green where we can and to be that little bit better than everyone else. In 2017 we opened one of our newest venues in the iconic County Hall venue which boasts a superb location on the riverside next to The London Eye and opposite The Houses of Parliament & Big Ben. In the same year we opened our first venue in Manchester. Our sales forecast for 2018 is £60m with a total of 18,000 events comprising of 800,000 delegates over our 15 venues. Across the portfolio we have over 250 dedicated training, meeting and conference rooms in a range of sizes that can hold from 2 to 900 delegates. We've scooped our fair share of awards over the years, including the 'Top 10 UK training Centres', Highly commended 'New event space' for County Hall and MIMA Awards Gold Winners for best use of video marketing, and that was just in 2017! In June 2018 we were included once again in 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain and announced that we secured new investment from Gencom and Benchmark, a Global Hospitality Company which would be transformational to our global ambitions.
