What Is Vigilance Santé?
Vigilance Santé develops computer tools and databases for health care professionals. Designed primarily to provide information on drugs and health to clinicians and their patients, these tools, which have now become indispensable, aim to ensure the safe and optimal use of drugs. A QUEBEC COMPANY FOUNDED BY A PHARMACIST Vigilance Santé is a Quebec company that was founded in 1991. Founder and president Raymond Chevalier, himself a pharmacist, started off by developing a tool that would simplify his work in his own pharmacy. Since the work of health care professionals is becoming increasingly demanding and complex, it is important for them to have access to high performance computer-based tools that can be adapted to their individual practices. This was the driving force behind Rx Vigilance, the first of our products to be marketed back in 1992. Since then, we have been developing databases and software that have become powerful computer-based work tools that are quickly becoming indispensable for today's clinician.
