We have built up our reputation for being able to carry out complex schemes in the most physical and operational challenging situations. The civils work carried out involves design, construction, maintenance and enhancements on both rail and non-rail projects. We offer a complete package encompassing structures, earthworks & geotechnical, lineside infrastructure, drainage and permanent way works. We also carry out work on specialist industrial and commercial schemes such as multi-model distribution warehouses, terminal and office buildings, combined heat and power (CHP) plants, racecourses, transport interchange projects, airport aprons, stands and taxiways. We invest heavily in R&D and innovation, we have a highly skilled and experienced workforce which is supported by a large fleet of rail, civils and specialist plant, including our in-house paver units. We are also a Tier 1 supplier on Network Rail's National Vegetation Management Framework and our experienced vegetation management team is a solid unit which includes some of the industry's brightest and most experienced individuals. The in-house GIS Manager and Ecologist, support the management team, using cutting edge technology to inform those on the front line. Stobart Rail & Civils continues to grow through actively developing client and strategic partnerships and by supporting innovation and diversity throughout the business.
