The assortment can be described as luxurious, premium brands in Fashion, Cosmetics, Accessories and Home/Living. In 2011, de Bijenkorf was acquired by the Weston family and became part of the Selfridges Group, which also consists of Brown Thomas and Arnotts in Ireland, Holt Renfrew in Canada, Selfridges in the UK. The 7 de Bijenkorf stores are located in the larger cities, with the flagship store in Amsterdam. Other stores are located in Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Amstelveen, Maastricht and Eindhoven. The online activities are fast growing and de Bijenkorf manages to increase its market share in a highly competitive market. Our online store, deBijenkorf.nl, started in 2009 and has grown into one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the Netherlands. In addition to the Netherlands, we have had an online store in Belgium since 2015 and an online store in Germany since 2019.
