What Is VIVID?

Were Hampshire's largest provider of affordable homes, formed in April 2017 from the merger of housing associations First Wessex and Sentinel. We have around 70,000 customers and own and manage 30,000 homes in the South East, mainly across Hampshire and Surrey. And have around 1,000 staff including 300 in our repairs team and our own construction arm, VIVID Build. As a strong regional housing association, we have a clearly defined social purpose to build more homes and make them affordable for everyone. We have plans to build at least 1,200 new homes a year across all tenures, making us a major builder of new homes amongst UK housing associations. Our homes are located across 20 local authorities. Were developing a range of new build housing sites to meet local needs and aspirations. And offer a choice of housing tenures including; social and affordable rent, shared ownership, market sale and market rent. Our approach is to reinvest the surplus we make from both market sale and rent to increase the proportion of homes we build for social and affordable rent. Operating commercially means our business processes are lean and effective. Allowing us to make efficiency savings and drive customer service improvements. As a locally based business were extremely knowledgeable about our region and its housing issues and challenges. All of which means were regionally influential, focused on our relationships, and within easy reach of all areas of operation. Providing quality affordable homes is only part of what we do. As a people business, we know that what we do makes a real difference to peoples lives. So, as well as providing a roof over their head, we help create opportunities for people to improve their own lives and their communities too. #WeAreVIVID and we believe in #MoreHomesBrightFutures
