What Is Kalsi Engineering?

Kalsi Engineering Inc. (KEI) was founded in 1978 to provide engineering services, and solutions to problems in the nuclear power, oilfield, petrochemical, mining, pipeline and defense industries. In the nuclear industry, KEI is recognized as the leader in providing the highest quality technical services and reliable, cost-effective solutions to issues related to mechanical equipment, especially valves and actuators of all types. This reputation is based on our staff’s unique background, experience, in-depth knowledge, and successful track record of providing innovative solutions and engineering services to all the U.S. and Canadian nuclear power plants, as well as many international nuclear power plants. Our staff regularly participates in industry conferences, code committees, and utility owners’ group meetings. KEI headquarter offices, high performance computational facilities, and well-equipped mechanical equipment testing /flow loop testing laboratories are in Sugar Land, Texas. KEI has been the principal investigator for several research and development projects and development of application/maintenance guides for valves, actuators, and seals for the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). KEI has also successfully completed several R&D projects under the U.S. Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program for the NRC, DOD, DOE and NASA. Over the years, KEI has invested substantial resources of its own to conduct comprehensive flow-loop testing and development of validated software to meet the industry needs that were not fulfilled by any other Our organization is recognized worldwide for our technical excellence and development of innovative products.
