What Is CHANGING Homelessness (Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition of Northeast Florida)?

Formerly known as The Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition of Northeast Florida (ESHC), we have streamlined our name to better reflect our mission. We are now CHANGING homelessness. Our mission is to guide the community effort to prevent and end homelessness by providing leadership, advocacy, support, standards and funding. Our vision is an end to homelessness. Our Organization was formed in 1978 by a group of concerned and engaged social service agencies and downtown religious leaders. In 2000, we incorporated as a 501(c)(3) and became the Collaborative Applicant for Duval, Clay, and Nassau Counties.
