What Is BWSC GENERATION SERVICES UK?

BWSC is a global turnkey developer, contractor, operator and service provider of tailored medium to large-scale power plants. BWSC operates in two key markets; the boiler-based and the engine-based power plant market. The boiler-based plants are fuelled by biomass, consisting of straw and woodchips and the engine-based plants are powered by conventional fuels . BWSC has recently entered the market for flexible floating power solutions, fuelled by the environmentally friendly liquified natural gas (LNG) and will in the years ahead expand its product portfolio to include several new green applications.\n\nBased on years of experience, financial solidity and a proven track record, BWSC takes the responsibility for every aspect of:\n\n- Project development\n- Plant design\n- Construction\n- Rehabilitation\n- Operation & Maintenance\n- Financing\n \nBWSC takes a leading role in the development of Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects. Our product range also includes transmission lines, distribution systems and generation services, and BWSC has entered into long-term Technical Support Agreements (TSA) as well as operation and maintenance agreements covering a total accumulated plant capacity in excess of 1,800 MW.\n\nBWSC originated from the stationary engine division of Burmeister & Wain (B&W), which has built and installed diesel engines for power plants since 1904. BWSC was established as a separate specialist company in 1980 and was acquired by Mitsui E&S Holdings Co., Ltd. in 1990.
