J Bar J Youth Services offers a continuum of six programs addressing the needs of youth in Central Oregon: J BAR J BOYS RANCH Facilitating Positive Change for Youth: A treatment programs for adjudicated teen boys. BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF CENTRAL OREGON Defenders of Potential: Matching professionally screened adult mentors (Bigs) and kids (Littles CASCADE YOUTH & FAMILY CENTER A safe haven for young people in jeopardy: Shelter and programs for runaway and homeless. Support for victims of human trafficking to rebuild their lives. GRANDMAS HOUSE Essential nurturing resources for a fragile population: Shelter for homeless and/or abused pregnant girls and parenting young mothers. KINDRED CONNECTIONS Helping Families in crisis who lack a safety net: mentoring and support while parents work to secure stability for their families. ACADEMY AT SISTERS Empowering at-risk girls to lead healthy lives: A therapeutic boarding school blending both traditional and experiential therapies. OREGON HIGH DESERT CLASSICS The prestigious event is approved by the US Hunter Jumper Association, and recipient of the highest AA rating from the US Equestrian Foundation, this show attracts world class riders from all over the US and Canada. One of only 25 to receive Heritage Horse Show designation, it is also the only show of its caliber which is primarily a fundraiser for a non-profit.
